Cat Show

Gus and I hit the cat show on the way back from San Francisco the other day. It was pretty much like Best in Show, but with Cats instead of dogs. Hilarious, ridiculous and completely awesome. Getting a decent photo was virtually impossible because I had to sneak my camera around, but you get the idea, right?

Fight Softly

Last weekend I was in Las Vegas visiting my best friend Katie, owner of the amazing Gypsy Den, and it just so happened that I was in town during the Neon Reverb music festival. We saw lots of bands but the one that really stands out in my mind is the New Zealand band, The Ruby Suns. Bummed I left before I got to see Spindrift, but whatevs. Oh yeah, and every one of the Ruby Suns is fucking melt-your-heart adorable. *sigh*
